Service/program name: T.I.P The Scale
Description: TIP the Scale is a communication campaign aimed at parents to stop underage drinking in Iroquois County. TIP stands for Talking Improves Parenting. Our goal is to encourage parents to do their part to help TIP the Scale to stop underage drinking in Iroquois County by:
- talking to their teens about not drinking alcohol
- letting their teens know that underage drinking is both illegal and harmful
- and not providing alcohol for teens.

T.I.P. the Scale is the product of a Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnership for Success grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services to reduce underage drinking in Iroquois Count, awareded to the Iroquois-Kankakee Regional Office of Education (I-KAN) and the Juvenile Justice Council of Iroquois County.
