Project X educates people age 15-25 about the dangers of Club drugs and Methamphetamines and provides for effective interventions. It also educates the parents and community to the signs of usage of these drugs. Information and treatment can help control this growing problem and the more people who understand this problem the more our youth will be influenced not to use.
Project X is based out of the Killarney Street office of Prairie Center, but can be brought to any school, any meeting, or any event requested. Along with presentations to classes, at churches, PTA's and service groups, we also offer: panel discussions with former users of these drugs, workshops for teachers and other school professionals and youth workers, collaborations with community groups, trainings for people who volunteer working with youth, information booths for community and school events, viewings and discussions of film on club drugs "Voice of the Victim", and clinical assessments and treatment options.
A state-funded program designed to educate young adults age 15-25, their families, and communities to the dangers of club drugs and Methamphetamine.
