The Homeless Youth/Motivated Moms Program utilizes a comprehensive and holistic approach to assess and address the needs of individual families, and to plan for the long-term support of the teen and their family.
The program provides teens with the tools to make their own decisions, accept responsibility for their actions, and plan for their futures as they become self-sufficient and are able to use the resources in our community independently.
By creating an interdependence between the family and the community, the teen will be supported long after they leave the program.
Assists youth between the ages of 14-21 who are homeless or near homeless, including youth who are pregnant or parenting, in seeking employment, continuing education, and a secure, safe, and stable living environment. The program serves Champaign, Ford, and Iroquois counties.
