Reducing
underage alcohol use in Kankakee and Iroquois
Counties is the primary objective of the Pledge
for Life Partnership. However, it is not possible
to deter underage alcohol use without addressing
the problems caused by excessive drinking. In
many cases, teen alcohol use is related to the
drinking behaviors of the adults in their lives.
The Pledge for Life Partnership is committed to
providing youth, parents, educators and the rest
of the community with the latest research and
strategies to keep kids alcohol-free, while helping
those with alcohol problems find the treatment
they need. We hope the information you find on
this special section of the KAN-I HELP website
contributes in a major way to meeting that commitment.
